National Principals Month: Stacey Adams

To celebrate National Principals Month, we’re sharing some fun facts about our amazing school administrators. Today you’ll learn more about Mrs. Stacey Adams, principal of Bayou Boeuf Elementary School.

Here’s the inside scoop on Mrs. Adams:

🦌 She’s been a principal for five years.
🦌 She says watching the kids grow and learn is the most rewarding part of her job. Whether it's a student learning to read or a student stepping up to help a friend, those small, meaningful moments remind her why she loves what she does. “Our school has always felt like a family to me. There is something special about the way our staff, students, and families support one another. Bayou Boeuf has been my home for 37 years, and it's been an honor to grow with this community. I'm so proud of what we've built together and even more excited about what's still to come.”
🦌 The subject she liked best in school was math. She enjoyed the challenge and the feeling of accomplishment when she solved a problem.
🦌 Her favorite school lunch is gumbo.
🦌 Traveling out of the country to Ireland and Sweden is on her bucket list.
🦌 Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts, watching sports, and gardening.
🦌 Fun Fact: She has been at Bayou Boeuf Elementary for her entire career, 37 years.
